Hey Adam, I have a 9" disk brake convert you can make at your shop. Only thing needed new is caliper brackets. weld to housing. The whole thing in new parts $30.00. Rotors and calipers are doable with lay around parts. I have done it on a jeep xJ running 36's. Holla at me later. Looking good man.

Thanks, Troy. I'll throw you a text later about this. Thanks for the heads up brother.

Paint your fuel tank before installing, i suggest the Frame/chassis as well
@PaperBeatsRock4 жыл бұрын
Most definitely will be. The frame and everything else will have to wait for later when we do the full break down.

Well after few months of research finally watched this video all the way through , seen the teardown front hubs, On my bronco it was already torn apart had no ideal what went where, That thin spring @time stamp 6:03 is what I am missing, my parts, once I located them inside the bronco where ruined sitting in a bucket, one was rotted away. At least now I know the used part I just bought are just spares for the locking mechanism. Back to still looking for One "Spring" nice rebuild.

Thank you so much bed. They take a bit to get up and going but so worth it.

Dude for real. I was super surprised when I saw that. This is the exact reason why I'm going through it and didn't just do a few basic things and run.

I don’t know what engineer decided it was a good idea to make it so you have to pound the studs out to get the rotor off but I’d like to kick them in the butt! Same setup on my 94 f150, makes a break job take a lot longer

That was awesome to see you are getting parts for it my dad kinda did that with his 2010 ford raptor he got brakes all the way around new bfg Goodrich tires for it too and he needed a new wheel bearing and control arms I forgot if it was lower or upper honestly I'm glad one of these old fords not many are around especially broncos my dads old 91 was junked because of rust ( his pontiac g5 is a whole different story) im curious If what engine is under the hood of that truck if you mentioned it I guess I didn't listen

My neighbor gave me his 1999 s10 blazer and the motor ran hot and what should I do to it
@nathanmccree30894 жыл бұрын
Change head gasket or just throw it away an buy Ford

And the motor has not been started in years and what should I do to it
@PaperBeatsRock4 жыл бұрын
Need to check if it lifted a head. Is there oil in the coolant. easy to check. The coolant will have a rainbow in it from the oil. or is there coolant in the water. Again an easy check. The oil will have a milky gray look to it and not be black. If either of these have happened you will need to pull the heads and replace the head gasket and flush the motor with new oil if this happen recently.

Been awhile since you did a bronco update, is west coast Corona, Chop, etc keepin' ya down? Or are you busy with other projects? I dunno cause I'm not on your fb group.
