I suddenly wanted to see if it was possible to make a working trash can with origami, I don't know why. 😅
The flap on this origami box closes back to its position after pushing it... so I guess it can be done!
You would need to use bigger paper to make a decent-sized bin, maybe 40 x 40 cm or use some wrapping paper.

If you want to make a bigger one, just start with bigger paper, wrapping paper works well, but expect to use some glue to make it sturdier :)

Maybe trim off 5mm from top and left - to make a smaller paper. Or you could over fold somewhere, depending on which area is making it too big 🙂
