I had the opportunity to join my friend, Lindsie Chrisley on her Southern Tea Podcast. The write-up from the podcast follows:
"Justin Paperny, an author and prison consultant, joins Lindsie to give us insight into how his white collar crime and prison journey led him to be a prison consultant, his view on the sentencing of Todd and Julie Chrisley, and how the U.S. desperately needs major prison reform when it comes to non-violent crimes. Lindsie and Justin discuss the massive flaw in the sentencing of white collar crimes and the struggle it is to fight against the U.S. government, Lindsie speaks on seeing her father in prison and what she has learned through her parent's trial."

@@amirahgood8033 yeah supposedly people keep asking why she hasn't gone to visit Julie. She claims it's regarding a list you are on and how difficult it is, etc. Supposedly Nanny Fay is backing her. Yet Savannah goes every weekend. Truth be told, Julie probably doesn't want to see her. When Lindsie had the Feds come to the Chrisley's storage place to inspect it, Julie turned around and slapped Lindsie across the face. Don't see alot of good either.😁

I am not a big proponent of 'sending a message' when it comes to our justice systems and sentencing, I do think it might be a deterrent for white collar offenders. One of the things a CEO or business owner fears most is the thought of going to prison if he considers breaking the law.

I’m sorry Lindsay you’re too biased. You’re a big fan of home confinement because your parents are in jail. If they weren’t you wouldn’t care at all let’s be honest you should say that before you speak they deserve to be in jail maybe not for 12 years but for a while. It should be up to the victim. Let them choose how much jail time they should do, but not many victims. Could re-pay money like yours can’t not all of us are reality TV stars.

He want to prison and also got hours arrest He is considered to be a sex offender and will register the remainder of his life. mind you it was when the whole Clinton /Luensky case was going on… He gets a slap on the rise… Nephew get a life sentence ( so to speak) He is a productive part of society….. He lives in Oregon. My cousin who is a federal prosecutor in California, said he would get a slap on the wrist In California..sad and confusing… for the record… preteen children participate in this activity more than we want to admit.
