I recall when we lived there following a storm - probably 2018/2019, not as violent as this one - where the promenade in front of the shops was covered in sand and seaweed.

Yes the sea was really (dare I say it, boringly?) quiet today.

I did see on FB pics of the floods TOK road was very flooded which I'm guessing has all drained away now.
