I'm an 80s baby so I've got a unique perspective. We're the generation that straddled the line, remember growing up with no internet, saw it become a reality around 1996. And through today. When it's taken over every aspect of our lives. Being able to access literally anything, get information within seconds, our entire album collection fitting on to files on our phones. Yet with text instead of truly talking, social media identities passing for what used to be our souls, the instant exchange of fake news and misinformation. While this technology has provided us with some truly phenomenal tools, Jason Vorhees taught us that any tool could be used for evil. It seems like the more we advance technologically, the more emotionally and culturally stunted we become. I'm not sure that I wouldn't give it all up, and return to the way it was before, if given the chance
