I hope our liturgists will reiterate the practice of bowing five times during the Gloria: “sinasamba ka namin”, “pinasasalamatan ka namin”, the twice mention of the name of Jesus Christ, and “tanggapin mo ang aming kahilingan”. As you notice, this composition of Hontiveros deliberately puts stress/inflections on these parts of the hymn which signals a certain gesture to be done. Although written in the vernacular text, this version of the Gloria was composed as the Church was transitioning from the old rite of the Mass to the new one. These small gestures, while not indicated in the rubrics of the Missal, were never abrogated and it is a good practice to observe.

I am reading Traditionis Custodes of Pope Francis and the Article 8 says there that "previous norms, instructions, permissions, and customs that do not conform to the provisions of the present Motu Proprio are abrogated." Does this mean na pati bow practices that were observed since it was being done in the TLMs were abrogated?
