What makes this so terrifying to me isn't Papyrus's sudden violence or protectiveness, but Mettaton's intermittent gasps of pain. He thinks he's going to die, and Papyrus definitely had the ability to kill Mettaton right there, and they both know it. The fact that Papyrus was able to attack and come very close to killing Mettaton with ease is actually really scary to me.

@who needs names when you have M E M E S Also, the specific BONE ATTACK he used to do it. If you noticed, Papyrus used the orange bone attack. In the game, especially in Hotland, when you are going through those lasers, the orange ones you have to keep on moving; otherwise, you will take damage. Notice how Mettaton was NOT moving hence why he took alot of damage.
