This performance ranks among the very best captured on film, to this day. No audience, unfortunately. As usual, the late, great Viktor Fedotov draws a fine performance from the orchestra. A few years after this, many of these fine dancers had departed for (hopefully) greener pastures in the West.

Зеленский это нечто. чтоб такие вертолеты накручивать))) Махалина очень плавная, как по волнам плывет. Лопаткина круче, но Махалина тоже недурна. неудивлюсь если французы потом будут восстанавливать своего Петипа по нашим записям. Оркестр богатый. Питер рулит!!!
