Honestly it’s just depressing, snake makes shit versions of characters we want and then par adds shit no one cares about and makes them completely busted, at least the other devs try a little when making their stuff but I’m guessing that’s also why there’s so little content from other people Thank god anime showdown is dropping this month, they seem to care much more about pleasing people with good content

I will definitely say that while Showdown looks better, it does already suffer from some glaring balance issues(no surprise cuz what fighting game is truly balanced), but showdown's public matches don't look fun at all. 99% of the moves in the game are made with 1v1s in mind, so trying to do a free for all is gonna suck, as opposed to aba where many characters are better at free for all/pubs like iskandar or aokiji, and some are better for 1v1s like Ryuko or gin. Not saying they can't do well in the other scenario, but they are still geared towards different modes. With showdown you have a bunch of single target or tight hitbox moves that could only hit more than 1 person if they were right on top of each other.
