Question for creator or whoever is familiar with the curriculum... what is the purpose of asking "I wonder where the sower was?..." It feels like it is blaming Jesus for not preventing the poor soil. I am sure that's not the intention but I don't understand what those questions are getting at.

The Godly Play program is based on a Montessori approach to learning: it is discovery learning. The I Wonder questions let us discover the meaning for ourselves. The next time the children hear the story, they might discover other new meaning.
