nice pick up! so you went a whole size down from your usual sneaker size. if I got that right, you're normally a US10 in sneakers and you went with UK8/US9 in the Avoriaz? also did they happen to come with alternate laces? thanks!

Thanks for the support! Yes, normally I wear a US10 in sneakers (I own New Balance 574, and New Balance 991 for example). I tend to prefer my sneakers a bit roomier however, so my Brannock sizing is closer to 9-9.5US. I want a tighter fit for boots so I usually size down 1 full size from my sneaker size. Some people online mention TTS on the Avoriaz is good, which is not applicable to me because I like roomier sneakers. I went with UK8 in the Avoriaz and they fit perfectly. They only came with a pair of black laces and I bought another color pair later on. Kinda confusing but hope this helps lol.

@@itsericagain appreciate you. i'm actually the same size in sneakers, although my preferred sneaker fit is a snug one. rolling the dice, and will try a UK8.5!

reporting back, received the boots, sizing down .5 (from my typical sneaker size) worked out well for me! i did also check in with a couple of retailers who all recommended sizing down as well. for another point of reference for anyone reading this, i took the same size as i do in wallabees.
