Yes I ship Eleven/River and Amy/Rory and yes I realize it's a little odd to still ship Eleven/Amy so maybe you can view this is as not necessarily romantic...i don't even know. This song really worked for them so I figured I'd have a go at it.

I really love them not as couple but as best friends. At the begining Amy would fantasise for the doctor, but as a hero of her childhood, but after their relation changes. In my opinions they are the most cute and canon best friends, and it's really beautiful, maybe more beautiful as they were a couple. She loves Rory, and she loves the doctor with the same intensity, but it's a different kind of love. The doctor is her raggedy man, not her true love but her true friend, a friend everyone dreams to have

This is fabulous! I love Eleven and Amy's friendship, and I think a tiny part of her will always be in love with him (though Rory is fantastic). They really do hug each other loads; it's sweet. I love your song choice too!

it's so not odd to still like Eleven/Amy!!! The relationships between Doctor/River and Amy/Rory have been fluctuating for the entirety of their characters! The one thing that seems to stay constant is the relationship between Eleven/Amy, therefore there is nothing strange about shipping them in any way :) And this song fits their relationship so well!
