That is so cool and floated slowly down. The wind must help with recovery. Reminds me of dropping toilet paper rolls. Don't laugh. It is beautiful as it unfurls, twinkling as it turns. The real fun was chasing to cut it up before getting too low. We all had a blast that day years ago.

That's awesome as always! Have you constructed and flown a military (D-Day Invasion) glider? I know those were boxy and bulky and towed 95% of their flight. Can one sustain a glide?

We only had the one parachute and luckily didn’t loose it. It was always hard to judge how long it would take to open and then drift in the light winds.
