I don't know... I kinda like how we don't know anything about the various planets and factions we see in the movie, other than what happens in the movie. It gives everything a more ambiguous feel. There's no clear good or bad guys. Or rather, it feels like everyone might be a piece of shit, yet has some redeeming quality.

And then we begin to see throughout the series that not only are all the heroes not so heroic (and sometimes downright genocidal), but most of the villians are just regular civilians thinking they're just doing their job. And the protagonists slowly lose their sanity and degenerate into traumatized war criminals.. Dark? Yes. Are these supposedly kids books? Yes.

I really like many of your tracks but I think thus far this is my favorite. Partially cause I'm a gamer from the snes era so I am familiar with the one melody that you featured.
