Probably absolute bedlam. Early kick-off, staff hard at it since 6 - 7am, police & security briefings, bigger media presence, zombies had to bed there early doors. Probably a logistics nightmare 🍀HH

Get Neil Lennon sacked
@ianmacfarlane12415 жыл бұрын
Why? He stepped in at a moment's notice, and took over a jaded, and injury racked (though unbeaten in 2019) team. Yes, the football is pretty poor, but you can hardly blame Lenny for that - he's just got to get us over the line in the league. The Cup is a completely different matter - we'll really need to step up, but would you rather a managerless side, or worse John Kennedy in charge? We need to clear out the dead wood, accept the players who are leaving, and make solid acquisitions, and that will probably mean a new full time manager. Lenny is unlikely to be that man, unless Peter Lawwell thinks he's the cheapest option, and won't make too much noise about being given fuck all to spend. As for "sacking" Lenny - you'd sack a guy who's done nothing but show loyalty and support for the club - that's a snide move 🍀HH

@@bencb3 Who is this "better" manager? I'm not saying that there aren't better managers out there - of course there are, but who? Any suggestions.......? It's not going to be easy getting a good manager - particularly when you consider our (the fans) wants aren't going to match up with the board's requirements. It's a very tough ask - rebuild a team that's known nothing but domestic success for a few years*........and do so under all of the constraints we know will be there. It's a high pressure job, not suited to some managers. *After a POSSIBLE unprecedented treble Treble, the next manager is up against it - the only way to improve on that is a decent run in Europe. Even maintaining the status quo will be difficult, so the next manager could be set up to fail. Any ideas? 🍀HH
