This edition of Paradise Box features BOMBIE, a New Delhi-based DJ and aspiring music producer.
BOMBIE Effortlessly navigates genres like electro, breakbeat, future bass, UK garage, acid grooves, house, and techno, carving out her own space in the electronic music scene. Known for her deep digging skills, her sets pulse with rattling percussion and hypnotic undertones, often pushing into avant-garde territory.
Her musical journey began with a passion for singing and playing instruments, evolving into electronic music. She continues to push boundaries in her performances, dedicated to building a community of like-minded artists and listeners while staying true to her creative expression despite the pressures of social media.
In this set, we head to the rooftop of Marc’s Café, hosted by Apollo and Artemis, whose sweet sound waves are delivered through special speakers. Adding unique character to the event is a one-of-a-kind amp from Atomic Phantom, crafted by a NASA scientist in the 1980s. This amp, belonging to Phantom’s wife, brings a special warmth to the sound.
Eden brewed some delicious green tea, while a few walk-ins couldn’t resist a quick dance.
