I have to admit, I don't know what genre Paradise Lost is categorized currently as (I've heard some call them gothic metal too). But the vocals on this track are just magnificent. Thanks for the reaction and glad you liked it! Again, Paradise Lost has been around for so long that there's a lot of great tracks on their discography. Hopefully you'll react to some more tracks by them! Loved to hear that little tidbit about your drums. :-D I think Paradise Lost currently has a Finnish drummer, if I remember correctly.

It was Jeff SInger, he currently plays with the band Kill II This. The guitarist and founder of Kill II This (Mark Mynett) engineered and produced our album and when we brought my kit he wasnt happy with it so we decided to borrow Jeffs for the recording as i think he had just finished with Paradise lost at that time so it wasnt being used.

@@DaveDoesmoviesandmusic Oh man, Obsidian almost takes all the sounds and themes from previous albums and covers it with a blanket of doom. It's damn good IMO.
