Paradise Lost Mission ( F-4E Phantom II)

Colonel Swoops and I take to the skies in a couple of F-4E Phantom II fighter planes and do the Paradise Lost mission that is part of the F-4E Phantom II module when you purchase it. This mission is a take from the Paradise Lost Mission that is created by Reflected Simulations. This mission is really a lot of fun once you get past the start up procedure and INS initialization which takes Forever. In any case the mission is challenging and a lot of fun. NOTAM-- Due to Hurricane Milton I might not be able to Fly or make any videos for a wile. I am trying to post the videos I have that have been waiting for me to edit. The storm has really picked up & internet is getting scetchy! Hopefully Milton lands south of us! Hopefully it will miss the Tampa Bay Area and go South or North of us. If it does hit Tampa then we will most likely loose power and internet so I wont be able to upload any mission or Shorts. As soon as we are in the clear I will start posting again!! Thank you again!

I'm a USCG veteran & Electronic Engineer who loves aviation & Eagle Dynamics Digital Combat Simulator or DCS. I fly laying down in bed due to intense pain fm metal rods & screws in my spine. The head tracking & VR are tuned EXTREMELY sensitive to help me see without having to turn my head much. This shows up on my videos with excess head movement fm side to side & more head movement than normal. I apologize for this since I know it can be hard to watch at times. I am a private pilot & try to use my training when I can! I love flying in VR & believe this is the future for simulators. My videos are for entertainment purposes & NOT instructional! I am Not an expert & this is ONLY a Hobby for me.

So a disclaimer on the Cold Start thing. Most of my buds know I am NOT a fan of cold starting jets in DCS.Yeah I know some people like it and all the other stuff that goes along with it. I’m just not someone who like to pretend. If I want to go through start procedures and briefing and debriefing etc., I will go to the airport and just fly a real aircraft and start it up etc. When I fly in DCS it’s to relax and have fun. Following a long start procedure then waiting for the INS to align is NOT my idea of having fun. Get me in that jet and let me fly. I don’t really have an hour or two to spare & when you live in constant pain that time is precious and I don’t want to use that time starting an aircraft and going through a pretend arming procedure. Just NOT my thing & I don’t find it all that realistic. It’s just time I can spend practicing dropping warheads on foreheads!! Don’t take this the wrong way. If you like this kind of thing, than great go for it. Just make an option to skip this stuff so I can get on with the mission and FLY!! Not everyone does DCS for the same reasons. One man’s Fun is another mans dull torcher! 😢Just my opinion and most the guys that fly with me feel the same. Give us Hot Starts!!! I like Hot starts!!! Cheers everyone! 😂

This is a free mission in the F4 mission directory. It’s a great and fun mission once you get past the pretend stuff! I like it and recommend it. I just not a fan of the other stuff!!
