As you watch the video, keep in mind this was at the end of 2020, when the pandemic was still active. What you see in the video is opinions, and experiences shared by myself and the party we went with. A lot of people we spoke to shared the same experience we did during our stay. We did hear that this resort was absolutely amazing from people that stayed here a few years prior to our trip. Make your own conclusions, it is your money you are spending to come here.

I came to comment because I think a lot of the issues with your experience were related to visiting in the height of the pandemic when staff was short and supplies were limited. Let's hope that by now they're getting back to normal. I did enjoy the video, though. Keep it up. Thanks.

My husband and I stayed here in 2017 and 2022. Preferred the way it was in 2017 with an adult side and a family side. We went back the first day they reopened July 1, 2020. Most of the restaurants were closed. The smaller adults only pool was open fortunately and we had it to ourselves. The servers are all wonderful and poolside service and food is always top notch.

I am surprised by this review. 2 years ago we went on our honey moon and we had a total different experience. It was such a great stay we reserved for this summer and we are really looking forward to it.

We met a family that said the exact same thing, when they were here 2 years ago. They said it was one of the best resorts they stayed at. Post COVID, they said it is night and day difference. We did not enjoy the service and food here during our stay.

I’ve just returned from staying here, I would say fro when this review was done the service has improved massively. I didn’t rate the food all that much. Over all a nice stay but probably wouldn’t return. Also not sure if I would recommend it either, it was expensive for what we received.

@@majdr622 We did tell them, it seems like they put a band-aid over it for the moment and then it all resumes. I think they were trained to do it this way for now, maybe until COVID passes.

Pro tip have to give good tip for catsup or coffee get on time. " Hey men hear ar 20 dollars I give 20 more by the end" i trust me you be tested as a king. Sad but that's how it works on Mexico

I stayed here in 2021 with butler service which was excellent. However, I will never go back. I can’t stand how you can’t relax on the beach or pool without animals grabbing your food.

As far as I know all of that is allowed. I would check drone footage with the local laws, but it shouldn't be an issue since there is no airport super close by (there is an active army base pretty close to the resort though).

You went during the middle of a pandemic. Many restaurants, including those in the US, had to work with only half a menu and some items had to be altered based on the ingredients they were able to get a hold of the week or even that day. I can't take you seriously 😒.

@@SergeyPip I have done trips to very expensive hotels and restaurants during this pandemic and this is how it has been. Not all restaurants are open, half capacity resorts where only one side is open. Half the regular menu at restaurants that I heard great things about and not being able to try the one main dish everyone was raving about because it just wasn't on the menu. It just gives me a reason to go back. Spent thousands of dollars but knew what might happen. It's all cool. I will still give this resort a shot. Like you said it's your opinion based on your experience. I've seen others with much better experiences at this resort during the pandemic. I will take what you said with a grain of 🧂.

Hello! Yes, we have stayed at 4 different resorts. By far our favorite was Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun, in the Cancun hotel zone. But I would take traveling with a grain of salt right now. Although we had friends go to Fiesta Americana 1 week before we went to Paradisus and they loved it. They actually enjoyed Fiesta Americana Cancun more than Paradisus Cancun (which we have not stayed at). But we know 4 different families that went to Fiesta Americana and all said they would return.

Paradisus isn't cheap either by the standard of average Americans. If you get the swim-up rooms, they're on the order of several hundred a night. We were thinking of coming here but not anymore. It almost sounds like the resort will go under soon, and they're just trying to get as much money as possible.
