After his wife is killed in a hit-and-run accident by a mysterious Hooded Man, DYLAN BRANDT, a Theoretical Physicist, builds a Quantum Suicide Machine to jump through parallel universes to find another universe where his wife is still alive.

Phenomenal screenwriting and editing. I hate time travel and or multiverse type movies that break their own internal logic. This one didn't and I followed every iteration of his character. Very well thought out and planned. Amazing to find out that this movie was made for 15K on a Canon 5D.

I lost my best friend Sara and then 18 days later my husband Dylan. DYLAN!!! I've been searching for an answer, a way back to them ever since. I've learned more in the past 5 years about physics than I've learned about anything my whole life. Tears streaming down my face and knowing that each decision I've made leads to the next with purpose ends with this movie. I saw a movie about love and fate where the main two characters names were Dylan and Sara. 2:22 I believe it's called I've seen so many I can't be sure. Anyways with this movie and the fact that since their death I've also became obsessed with Max Tegmarks brilliance and I believe whole heartedly in signs. I'm going to actually let them go now. Genius to make a movie where all the parts fit together. My theory is that for each person there is a universe apart since each of us can observe it differently. Time travel illustrates this perfectly, you go back in time and change something in the past and your actual time line disappears. So it's all a matter of perspective, therefore for each conscious being there is another universe. Add them all together and you have the multiverse all finding it's origin in one unique original place. The zero point. Omg I'm a genius myself.

It's still your life. You haven't switched bodies. It still remains your reality regardless of what '' time '' you're in. Schrodinger's Cat: If you're the cat and not the observer you exist in two states - In this theory we'll say that's you before you stepped into the time machine & also you afterward. Which one is the original? The you after you stepped into the machine because you were the one who built it and stepped into it. The you before you got in there is on a separate timeline because the you that stepped out afterward has gone back in order to be able to perceive there was a you to step into the time machine in the first place. This was a brilliant film. Im quite sure it is inspired by, for those of you who remember the good old tv-show, "Deadzone", and the film crew nailed it perfectly. I had a great time watching this. This was actually a very well conceptualized, well scripted, well directed and well acted sci-fi time travel/parallel universes movie in which the final 20 minutes put all of the pieces together neatly. The last part of this movie explain any lingering questions and the ending is both a surprise and a revelation as to what was most important in our lives, our existence, our own universe.

This is a movie about time travel. Parallel means happening side by side. If the "he" that lived did something he would not end up back where he started from causing his own demise. There would be another world in which he was alive and his actions would not affect the world where he died. He would affect the world he is currently in. If he jumps multiple times then he gets further and further from the world he started from. If he did end up back on the world he started from he would come back to a world that had past through the amount of time he was gone with no changes he has made in other worlds. Its confusing to think about but it is different than time travel which would better explain what happened to him.

This is an outstanding production. I'm truly touched. Just one serious criticism, in all the parallel universes to which our protagonist(s) traveled, there were no historical differences; in my view there should have been at least minor ones (even if assuming the universes visited were located in close proximity to one another and to the original - alpha - universe).

One the other hand, implicitly, the bus and its driver that hit the wife, had different time lines in the alternative universes, to the introductory universe. The alternative COBE was interesting. The distortion created a new early universe inconsistent with the lived consequences of lived frame being experienced.

To everyone who is contemplating watching this free sci-fi time travel/parallel universes movie...the whole key to really understanding and therefor enjoying it (a lot, and you will if you do this) is...be patient and watch it until the very end KNOWING that it will all make sense in the end and it will have been worth not giving up on it. I find this hilarious in that this intelligent man thinks that succeeding in jumping into a parallel universe will bring back his wife. It would only separate the universe at the point of where he should or should not have lived.
