Keep in mind that kiting is deceptively EASY on the coast due to the laminar winds - even when it's strong. You will not truly be skilled until you master kiting much more inland or in mountainous terrain where kiting skills really matter and are put to the test (unless 100% of your flying is coastal of course).

Like Tucker Gott's training? He got a whopping 20 flights in after 14 days of training. Inland you will running all over the place getting way too exhausted. The beach allows for consistent winds that will teach you how to handle the glider. It's really the best place to do training. So Dell gets you more time kiting and more time flying than other outfits....BY FAR....And if you go with his gear...it's cheaper/comparable to let's say, Aviator PPG. They charge $3800, not including lodging. Sorry, I'll take the guy who offends pansies. Hopefully, I too will experience the joys of flying next to the Owl.

I concur. My wife and I ordered a Flat Top paramotor April 3, 2023 only to find out later that the Flat Top was no longer in production. He did not tell us at the time of order that they were no longer in production and that he had nothing to sell. He stole almost $10,000 including money for a reserve parachute and shipping costs from us. He states that he will not issue a refund. He is deleting my customer inquiries on his Facebook page and has shadow-banned me on his KZbin channel. This has been my introduction into this hobby and now I cannot even fly due to this man and his dishonesty. I just want to take the time to let everyone who might be contemplating doing business with this man to beware. I would recommend staying away from him and saving yourselves a lot of money and trouble. I sincerely hope this helps someone out there to avoid what we're going through. Try hard to find someone reputable and do your homework first.

Good tips and nice control, but any instructor that demonstrates poor safety by not wearing a helmet when connected to a wing, is making a poor example for their students. A huge "red flag" and someone that should raise their bar as an instructor.

I don't want to wear a helmet while I'm kiting. Students are using his gear. I don't want to put someone's sweaty helmet on my head. He does put them on for the flying portion.

You clearly have great glider control. but to ground handle in strongish conditions without a helmet seems an unnecessary risk. I am from a medical background to protect the held is critical.
