Paragliding at Bir - Billing | Himachal Pradesh | India | 8000ft from sea level.

This is a video of tandem paragliding, where two people fly at one time in one para-glider. This was carried out at Bir-Billing. This is considered as second best spot in world for paragliding. The take off site is 8000ft above the sea level and the landing site is 4300ft above the sea level.
This lasted for a total duration of 30-40 minutes. I have fast forwarded few shots and edited a few shots to make it of a shorter duration.

Well that is what I got to know when I reached there. Bir is also called the paragliding capital of India. Paragliding events and competitions are held every year at this site because of it's height. You can even google about Bir Billing. The nearest city is Dharamshala. I went on a trip to Dharamshala and was told about Bir so went there for paragliding. You can stay in Bir. You can also stay in Dharamshala or Mc leodganj. There is not much difference in terms of distance b/w Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. So you can roam around these two places. Triund is nice trek in dharamshala which needs one day atleast. For my trip after Bir , Dharamshala and Mcleodganj I went to Dalhousie & Khajjiar. Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzerland and a must be visited. Hope this helps :)

well mine was a road trip from Delhi with our own car, hence it was a four days trip(excluding Triund as I had visited it earlier). For two people it costed approx 20k.
