We have to wear a helmet when we take off and landing. It is dangerous. Somebody got injured during take off. But is not very often, I was just lucky ( unfortunately) to seen it

Yes they are, but wasn't open when we were there, but supposed to be ready for 2020 and we are back there so will defo have a go of it.

In general paragliding accident statistics according to insurance companies and the police are similar to motorcycle accidents. So it's not anything extraordinary in this sense. I'm not familiar with that particular spot and their tandem pilots but the place looks well-run. Places I'm familiar with in Switzerland fly tens of thousands of tourists per year with no accidents. Keep in mind the paraglider is extremely strong despite the looks :-) A single line could hold your entire weight and there are dozens of them.

@@robramsay6408 Nice! I went on a tandem ride completely on a whim and unplanned in 2011 and immediately loved it and decided to learn it. Now I go places with my own wing, it's an amazing invention, the entire equipment fits in a backpack. Leonardo's wet dream :-) I'm curious about your flying and what you think of the place!

This looks well better than my flight. Although mine was fantastic. There weren't any clouds and that is where you get the sense of speed or movement. Next time, I will be taking my own go pro and point it to where I want it to be. If your thinking of having a go? then it is absolutely fantastic, and the speedy bits are only done if you want so you can just relax and chill at the ride. Again, it is an absolutely fantastic experience and lasts about 15 - 30 mins so go and have a go.
