Can't people just accept the FACT that Paragon was outmatched this tier?! And this comes from a Paragon fanboy who has been watching their progress steadily (even in MoP) since the beginning of Cataclysm, inspiring me to be a good raider! Method won, the only thing that Paragon can do now is rethink their approach and see what they can do better in the next tier, just like Method took their own "drastic measures" for their loss against Paragon during Highmaul.

If you want to get technical, this kill isn't all exactly legit. If you notice the Rogues opener, he doesn't do a traditional opener starting in stealth and using premed to get SnD up before the pull. He opens out of stealth because he has the bugged Master of Subtlety which gives him 15% increased damage and at the time if you went back into stealth it would temp fix the bug. Anyway, you can see he retains Master of Subtlety even after 6 seconds of being out of stealth throughout the whole fight. Patch 6.1 Hotfixes - February 25 Fixed an issue that could allow the effects of Master of Subtlety to persist longer than intended. It's not Paragons fault that Rogues were bugged and they took advantage of it, anyone would have. That's blizzards fault. Method might have account shared but Paragon got a kill with bugged rogues which if you want to get technical, is worse. Anyway, congrats to Paragon for killing this boss. P.S. I'm not against them account sharing or taking advantage of the rogue bug nor am I a Method fanboy I just thought I'd throw this info out there for people that keep saying Method didn't get a legit kill because those people are delusional Helen Kellar idiots.

Dude, why post such nonsense, when you got no clue ? - MoS was fixed ! Not saying that here is no bug involved, but it is one EVERY good Subtlety Rogue abuses (Subterfuge talent + Glyph of Vanish increases the duration of beeing stealthed from that talent + therefore an increased uptime of 'Master of Subtlety') - and OFC he starts stealthed ... o.O And to those who now come up with how he can have a full SnD up at pull (and the DK high Runic Power) ... well most bosses in BRF are resetable by a few classes, AT THE COST of Trinket/Enchant/etc. procs, besides for Sub-rogues who dont need to attack to get CPs ... pretty legit too, as some classes pay with procs for it.

Chuw You are mistaken. There were hotfixes sent out on the 25th of February for NA but EU usually doesn't get these hotfixes until a day later. If you look at wow progress you will also see that Paragon killed Blackhand on the 25th of February. From a strategy standpoint, this kill is miles behind the Method one. Group soaking Debris in the final phase, not killing a wave of adds with Hunters and Warlocks before the first smash in phase 2... These issues are why Method won by so much.

Actually, this strategy is ahead of methods. They get through phase 2 much faster than they, and they spent the time they have more efficiently. Also killing a wave of adds before the first smash isn't a big difference, and isn't enough reason to be the reason why they didn't get the kill. According to Deva, the reason they have 300+ more wipes than Method that they fucked up their original comp for the fight pretty fucking bad.

TFP I beg to differ. The fact that they had fraggo soaking the 3rd set of impales for each round of siege tanks made this strategy far inferior. Basically fraggo's death was unavoidable and meant they had 1 less ress throughout the fight.

Paragon was nearly beaten by Midwinter. I'm a Midwinter fan, but they're flat out casual compared to Paragon in both preparation and hours raided, and yet they still had a far better strat. Paragon got this kill by brute force, every other guild that's released a video so far killed it by beating the encounter's mechanics.

teye farmer To be fair, Paragon had a sub 1% wipe on the boss the previous week and obviously could have pushed to down the boss the same week Method did. As well, at this point I would not at all call Midwinter casual even compared to Method and Paragon when they easily raid just as much the first few days of progression. Even worse when it comes to preparation, when they do just as many raids the first week as the other two guilds. That's far from casual.

The reason their kills are so clean is partly down to Jhazrun, they unquestionably the greatest healer in the world. I don't think metres are everything, but the fact that Jhazrun is doing that amount of healing as a Holy Priest, probably the weakest healing class, is amazing.

Any decent guild I do know that has a Holy priest, usually ends up having them go as disc. I know you well into a debate explaining why I'm wrong, but the figures say otherwise

I dont think holy priests are weak, they just get over-shadowed by their OP disc counterparts. The tier set bonuses make holy extremely competitve.

They only seem useful on kromog/blast furnance and last boss. the rest it's just complete over healing, I think blizz need to make them a bit more competitive. @@mikefantos2878 I see what you mean, HFC lasting for, what, over a year was definitely bad. But I actually loved garrison, I pretty much only played for pve and didn't really have much time to farm. You could log 10 minutes a day and always be raid ready. I guess it depends what kind of player you were, but I'd bet most raiders didn't mind what little there was to do besides raids/mythic dungeons

I'm no fanboy of Method, i kinda always "cheered" for Paragon as I love their vids but I don't really get why you guys get salty for a few account sharing. I mean we all did it in our progress : "ho shit X can't be there tonight, we really need this or this bla bla" "Y can u log on his char ?". And I'd be suprised if Paragon never shared accounts lol. Anyway, huge Gg to Method & Paragon, this race was fun to spectate, GL to both guilds for next tier :)
