I've never seen such low hype for a new hero release. I haven't experienced any queue dodging at all and it doesn't seem that anybody is cares too much for her. I haven't heard anybody say "New Main" like they usually do when a new hero comes out either.

i honestly dont get all the hate towards this hero just because she isnt fucking overpowered like the last few heroes we have gotten doesnt mean shes bad and if anything she does her job better than any other hero, which is being an absolute tank and simply outlasting her enemies rather than killing them outright

Her waveclear is actually pretty good. It's like The Fey''s waveclear. It seems somewhat weak early on, but gets stronger as the game goes on. She has low damage and low cc, because she provides a more defensive-passive type of playstyle. She harasses people and if not confronted, her stacks of DoT do add up and hurt. Most people won't ignore her because having someone constantly shooting u and whittling down ur health is annoying. Her bait game is strong and she can lure most people into wasting their resources and attention on her. Most people can't resist trying to killi something they think is weak.

The problem is she's marketed as a hard to kill damage dealer but her damage is so absolutely underwhelming that she is really just a tank but then you just kill off their actual damage dealers and then she just sits there and absorbs damage for an extra 10 seconds and dies anyways

XaddedXD Gaming the problem isn't how tanky she is but how easy it is to ignore her in a fight. Good tanks will impose and pull aggro. She is small and only has a single lack luster stun.

Ive tried playing Zinx a handful of times and sure, her mana drains quickley but I this in a way, she's sort of an aid. Such as the stunning. She's just hard to get used to. I like her but I usually prefer support. But thank you for the gameplay so I can get more of an idea of how she works and better cards for her. ^^

I think they should add another effect to bad medicine, maybe enemies hit by it get reduced healing for a bit similar to thickblood but just built into the ability I think this would fit pretty well as the ability is call 'bad medicine'

no, its op af right now, she needs a nerf. at level 5 she becomes unkillable and can win 1v2s on her own easily. plus that is already a card ability in the game.

I agree it could use another effect, but not a damage buff. I think it should be used to heal allies or cleanse them of CC. I think that would make more viable as a support. especially considering she is a doctor in her lore.

Hey I think this new hero looks cool, I didn't even play some of the other heroes for a while after they came out, just because I didn't find them very cool. I think Zinx has potential to have amazing synergy with the new card system coming out and she might be designed with that in mind.

RGSACE you should def try her as a bruiser. She's a lot of fun that way and hydro is a pretty good addition too.

I build HP, Mana, attack speed and a tiny bit of ability armor, the card that gives you damage based on how much mana you have is really good, you dont have to build damage that way and it allows you to chunk their hp at the start of fights then finish with abilities and dot damage. HP regen is almost useless since you dont take damage very often. she is fun to play if you dont build for damage. She is the best offlaner in the game, can escape pretty much any fight if played and built right, once you hit level 5 you dont even need to build hp, 90% of the time you will be almost full hp. always keep your ult active, even if you have no mana, it keeps you alive and doesnt drain unless taking damage, your mana is a self regen shield.

I ran hydroverser and got her mana to 2k. Added a bit of health regen and armour to help sustain in a fight. With her mana regen at 6% of her total mana pool, I couldn't run out of mana if I tried.

I play zinx a lot (as a damage dealer) at the safe Lane. If you Build her with mana and power (adamant Staff, hydroverser etc. ) you can do insane damage and with her tankiness you can take any engage. You just have to be patient enough to learn the character but once you got the point, she is a powerful character that can take a battle with anyone. The Positioning with her is the key to dominate the fight. Just half an hour ago I got flamed for playing her, although I carried the team the community should really try to give her a chance^°

Well, what's actually funny is that her abilities are rather underwhelming. She should be able to have decent damage if you build some damage on her. not really, keep it on almost all the time since it stops people from ganking you as much and prevents stupid ults like morigesh from killing you when around 150 hp. once you get your ult your mana regen is so good that you should put 20 points into mana, doing that will allow you to murder people with q and survive at the same time, always keep a 3rd of your mana unless you can kill with a q shot.

I'm mainly waiting for v42 before I get back into playing a lot of paragon. Zinx seems like she can melt people with tainted magicks. I wanna try a damage build with the health into mana converter and the spell vamp item and almost constantly have ult and/or q active

I tried her in bots vs bots and used clearheart to buff her ult a bit. Built health, mana and armor and i was able to tank an inhib with the help of cast converter. Took very little dmg from pretty much anything

I feel like she is made for v42, but currently I feel like her Q should cost less mana late, her RMB could use a additional effect against heroes since it's niche unless you have hard core chain cc on your team but it is a good wave clear tool

Tell me if i miss sth but you actually can run around 24/7 with her ult activated. The description says it costs 1 mana for 1 life. Which is always a good deal when you have mana regeneration. And it reduces 50% of all damage taken.

Mr.MjLc depending on how much damage you're tanking, using abilities and tanking at the same time doesn't work out too well. but if you're that low mana you have to choose between tank or stun you're probably dead any way

If bad medicine was a burst ability, her stun did a bit of damage and her kitty claws used less mana her quality of life would be much better imo, could build her tanky or more like a burst caster and i think more people would enjoy her, i personally was really hyped but she just feels awkward in team fights, her stun is amazing but that's it

I don't know about building power b/c her power scaling is so bad. I think health, mana, and armor would be best. possibly using a tainted with madspore for some damage or even a traitors touch.

Zinc is special and for me fun... but she needs a buff on her kitty claws... they cost so much early game and even late which makes u choose tank or deal a little more dmg. She is just week her stun is the only good ability I feel

She is good, damage scaling is bad but for good reason. Her DoT ability stacks so that's why attack speed is recommended so you'll be able to melt people with it.

there is, there are often many situations where you might want to go for or assist a kill, meaning that fighting with that on is going to waste your damage output and stun chances making it a crap ton harder to get the kill or assist edit: also early game its a bad idea to have ur ult on all the time, that only becomes possible once you upgrade the ult after unlocking it since you wont get enough mana regen otherwise

People underestimate the dmg on her Q. One shot isn't all that great, but you land two, maybe 3, and surprisingly a lot of dmg is being dished out. She is a basic attack hero... I think it costs far too much mana though, she doesn't get enough mana regen from her passive considering how expensive that ability is.

I want to like playing as her, but most players I go against will take a cheap shot to move the minion group away from her AOE, and by level 5 most ADCs don't care about your ult since it disappears with a few hits. At least from most of the Sparrows and Revs that I see in the safe lane. Then you have Yin with her cleave and life-steal, Zinx doesn't stand a chance. While I agree that she doesn't need to be powerful enough to take on everyone, she has very little usability early game, and poses a smaller threat late game. Maybe if her AOE also slowed, it could help do a little more minion damage. I may just be playing against people who are better prepared to face her, but that has been my experience so far.

You say she has a slow wave clear, you need to be using your abilities to wave clear, even enhanced basic. She is designed to use her mana fast as it will regen extremely fast. Most of the time you were wave clearing, you were sitting on full mana which is a total waste. Also, best to keep her Ult on at all times, health is more valuable to her then mana, as mana regens fast and health does not. cast converter is a must have and should get it earlier, also quenching scales is great on her. You are right to build power also, as otherwise she lacks bite. She does not need any extra mana regen as her ult is insane regen and you want to get low on mana for the most value.

Aw, I think you could've easily tanked and taken out the right Inhib. People say Tainted Magick doesn't proc off her Kitty Claws' DoT, which isn't true. If you look at when you're shooting Khaimera (just before they lose) you see 21 appear for your Q's DoT but also 42, which comes from Tainted. But at the same time, when you're shooting at Belica in mid at 35:50, Tainted doesn't go off at all. So it appears that the Ability isn't very consistent. Maybe Epic should look into this...

you should just leave her ult on until you're tanky enough to sustain a lot of damage or you need the mana for abilities and according to sylphin it's better to build health/armour first for the sustain so you don't need your ult as much to sustain damage and so use less mana for damage sustain and when your ult is level 2 then you should start to build more mana

Her stun ability is great, the ult is cool, but the other two im not a big fan of. The basic booster takes 120 mana for every shot like bruh.

I'm gonna have to jump in to defend poor Zinx, despite the fact I don't find her exceptional. I find her to be mostly well balanced, and she seems to be a mix of several offlaners such as Countess for her sustain in lane through healing and well as Feng with her shield. Her wave clear is quite meh, but by no means bad and she can fit in as a comfortable hybrid between damage and tank similar to a Greystone. And her mana regen is insane, and you can have up to 22.5 per second with a full mana bar, balanced by her wild consumption. And in team fights she can easily melt characters who don't pay attention to her with her DOT. Butttt while she is a 'jack of all trades' she is the master of none. She doesn't have Fengs mobility, the burst of Countess or the...everything of Greystone and will feel rather lack luster in the offlane compared to the tried and true heroes. Epic have missed the mark, she's the mid laner. Her mana regen gives her free reign to use her abilities and poke at the mid laner and remain when they are forced to back. Her ganking potential is decent with her kitty claws and her stun is similar to Belicas knock up, buying enough time for your team to catch up or escape. And as she doesn't have to back as she regularly has mana, she has the abilities always ready to deal out the damage or tank it depending. All in all not an amazing hero, certainly won't be shaking up the game drastically but she's on par with Wraith as a mid laner, and should leave the offline to someone who dominates it more.

Personally the whole damage overtime thing just doesn't work how they thought it would. Towards late game all damage overtime abilities just become a bit lack luster. I wish they made her aoe ability burst instead of damage over time.

This build doesn't make much sense to me, she's can be one of the most durable heroes in game if built with health and basic armor. Adding mana doesn't make much sense since it regens so quickly, especially at level 3 ult. Once at level 12 just leave the defensive mode activated at all times and her effective health is 6000+, it's insane. No real need for tele-blink since she doesn't have any big damage abilities and she can't use it to escape. Maybe to land a stun, but the extra armor/health makes more sense IMO. Full build: cast converter, 2 adamant edge(5cp health, 8cp dmg), sage's ward(5cp health, 7cp dmg), tempered plate(6cp armor, 1cp health), whirling wand(6cp atkspd, 1cp dmg). Makes her incredibly difficult to kill while still being able to put out respectable dps. (Can easily solo orb, just takes a while)

you dont build much hp at all, build like 6 points max, you should put 20 into mana and a bit into attack speed and power, her mana is what keeps her alive and she doesnt need mana regen because she gets tons at level 5.

every video i watch with Zinx players they don't use her boomerang correctly they always try to hit heroes you attack the minion closest to you and it bounces and each consecutive bounce stuns longer so boomerang then rush the hero with ur kitty claws and slow

a stun that can lead to high stun times when used correctly and gives a modest stun without ricochets good 1v1 capabilities with her dot damage making her crazy powerful with black buff and an ult which lets her tank towers and ganks not to mention great mana sustain shes been out less than a week which means nobody has anyway of telling how good she is really because she hasnt been played enough so people have just gotten used to being able to get by with very little executional mastery of heroes and have gotten by with wall banging enemies through walls

TheProEnder ult doesn't cost any mana to use and even when it's toggled on you still get the mana regent so there's no reason to turn it off

InSkengsWeTrust .T if your taking dmg from murdock dealing 200 dmg a shot 1 shot 100 mana instantly gone so lets use this as an example your running away from a murdock and phase you have 200 mana u have your ult off u turn around stun murdock and escape clan scenario 2: you have your ult on your running away from a twinblast dealing 200 dmg a shot u have 200 mana twinblast hits u twice u turn around to stun then u realize u have no mana rip

she is lack luster, because she's a tank with weak abilities both visually and numbers, but her late game survivability is crazy 😜

They should have done the Iggy rework first rather than releasing this hero that will work better on the upcoming update, which will come next month. She doesn't belong in V41 tbh
