There was a Nintendo 64 emulator for the original Xbox that used this music as the menu theme. That's where my nostalgia comes from. I remember the joy of Super Mario 64 not even being on there and so many 64 games being laggy. Oh yeah. Good timess 😭

I say it beats Galaxy as well. What really kept me coming back was how interesting the game kind of played like Mario 64, while also being 2-dimensional. However, an even greater aspect of that was the fact that the game had a level editor and submitted levels online. Lots of fun! Especially going through Super Mario Galaxy-inspired levels and roaming through the many levels online. People also happened to get creative with their designs and that was quite the eye-candy to come across.
