@@creativelyabsentminded2037 I've read some of it and when they mention the birdcage being a prison that no one can escape I roll my eyes and say bullshit. The tomb from escape plan was unbreakable and yet two guys escape from it.

@@dennismatula9611 ok. The Birdcage is "unescapable", because it has a bunch of tinkertech traps set up around it. It is suspended in a vacuum inside a hollowed out mountain. It might also be shrunk down to the size of a grapefruit using space warping tech. If one somehow can survive the vacuum there are a bunch of drones with various doodads ready at all times. There is one way in (an elevator with a limited air supply, that is destroyed after dropping off supplies/new prisoners) and no way out. Glaisig Uaine could presumably leave at anytime she wants because she has a shit-ton of powers, but she is in there voluntarily. At the end of Worm a bunch of prisoners are portaled out to help with the end of the world. So it isn't impossible to get out, you would just die as soon as you tried to break through the walls, either to vacuum exposure or drones or the other prisoners who don't want to be sucked out into a void. tl:dr alien based death powers make getting out impossible for somebody not named Glaistig Uaine.
