I cannot thank you enough for these edifying videos. I hope that I don't sound insincere by thanking you so much lately, but they truly mean a lot to me. 💗 Although I don't know how to chant, with the English subtitles I feel as if I can at least pray along with you, because I can feel the heartfelt emotions with which you are chanting (for lack of a better way of explaining it). 🙏💕☦️🕊

In Holy Orthodoxy women have to cover their hair

Not in the current liturgical practice of the Greek Orthodox Church and, please let me note: fortunately!

@@nektariakarantzi Yes, because the greeks are apostates. They are protestants. Sitting on pews, immodest clothing, no hair cover, no prostrations, New Calendar....
@alexandermarkus95872 жыл бұрын
@@nektariakarantzi It is a part of Holy Tradition,...Holy Scripture, Holy Iconography. Read the letter of St. Paul on women without hair covering. Read the Holy Fathers.

I am really sorry for your lack of sufficient knowledge on matters of interpretation of scriptures and sacred canons, but I appreciate your passion. The Orthodox Christian tradition is not just quoting. And this is what I've first learnt from my Spiritual Father, Saint Porfyrios of Kafsokalyvia, with whose blessing I serve chanting (as can be seen in the video and without covering my hair). The Greek Orthodox Church does not act by chance, refusing to include the head covering in the modern era. I would encourage you to read a little deeper into why the sacred canons exist and how to interpret them, but this is a life's work. By the way it is the subject of my scientific work, so thanks for the suggestions but as we say in Greece "κομίζεις γλαύκα εις Αθήνας".

@@nektariakarantzi My dear greek apostate I know Holy Tradition and Holy Canons very well. Also Holy Scripture and the patristic Orthodox interpretation. St. Paul says that IT IS A SHAME FOR EVERY WOMAN TO PRAY WITH HER HEAD UNCOVERED.
