The more I listen the more I love her voice. Cassandra is on her own private level. She doesn't have female peers, she has women wishing that they could sing like her. If I sat down and listened to the male singers of this genre I am not sure that any of them can compete with her either. Don't get me wrong, there are many singers female and male who are unnaturally talented and whose voices I think are amazing, but the list of singers voices that I LOVE is ridiculously small. I only had to hear ONE PARALANDRA song to immediately LOVE Cassandra's voice. That doesn't happen often.

I will never get tired of hearing Cassandra sing this song. Absolutely thrills me to my core. For The Record, Cassandra looked smoking hot throughout the video, but there was something about her in the cowgirl hat that was extra hot. I really liked this video (even if it's a little inspired by Devilskin's ENDO video). I love the extraordinary energy of the Carson family and their colleagues. The truth is that I discovered you recently, and watching on KZbin and other songs I can say that I like Paralandra; the bad part is that being European thousands of miles away I can't get a chance to see a concert; I'm sure you have great concerts.🙏🤘

Honestly, any musician(s) playing rock/metal/punk these days is a total blessing considering that cookie cutter rap has dominated popular music for the last 15 years… it’s in pop, country, and even rock with the auto-tune garbage mumble-rap. I just wish the rock bands out there weren’t so bland… I’m not knocking these guys at all, it just seems like the only female fronted bands that get a push from labels are the very basic hard rock sound… Halestorm, Paramore, Pretty Reckless… where are the singers with Brody Dalle’s voice? Or Sean Yseult’s heavy groove bass? Carla Azar’s INSANE drum beats? They’re all so creative and original. Please don’t misunderstand me… ANY rock that gets played is great to hear. I just feel like women in rock are only given a chance if they’re “safe”… Or ironically, singing about being a female in the rock world and not “holding them down”. I’m probably coming off sounding like a misogynistic, misanthropic moron, but I just wish mostly male controlled music industry would give a push to more of a variety in the music world when it comes to women in rock… Bands like Priests or Screaming Females even bands that have been around like The Breeders or L7… After the alternative rock boom in the 90s where spontaneity was encouraged, the powers that be only gave a push to female-fronted bands that played safe hard rock. That era was the only time that being different was embraced by the mainstream. I’d love to see this band get a major label deal, then give a huge middle finger to the corporate dictatorship and drop an album that sounds like Primus’ Pork Soda or Nirvana’s In Utero… dirty, harsh, and most of all, the exact opposite of the bland mainstream mid-tempo two-dimensional “hard rock” that popular female voices have to play if they wanna sit at the men’s table. Major labels are like the government… They give only give us a product that isn’t going to stir up the masses… That’s why 80% of all songs are love/breakup songs. It’s the lowest common denominator that appeals to everyone without causing any dissent in the ranks.. any individual though or questions. Either way, I’m happy to see a video being advertised with a strong woman that’s speaking her mind. We need way more of this in the popular music world.
