Seeing the step by step process of things when it comes to building, animations, the paramaker etc. is just so nice to see. And of course while it's still in development, I would say one thing!: For various levels of skill when it comes to weights, maybe adding or subtracting the amount of weights to a dumb bell for the bench press would make it visually more consistent with the skill level? Not a complaint, just a suggestion; the animation itself is perfect!

The barbell thing was kinda awkward, I’d rather see him struggle in bring the barbell down the first time and go slower on lifting up in the early stages then that awkward dangerous wiggle and tilt. Keeping the limitations of this being a single character object they could have at home and a spotter Para maybe not always being available. That being said, love the WORK. Can’t wait for Paralives to drop. The animation team is clearly top notch.

Would you guys ever consider walking on the treadmill instead of running? I notice no simulation games have attempted this. Some people power walk on treadmills and even elevate the treadmill to simulate hiking. Could be cool!

There could be an interaction with the weight, like when it's too heavy and the weight can't hold it, it falls on the character and the character opens his eyes with a scared expression and the other characters come to help, it would be funny if you could do that

Loved the barbell animations. Also, I remember hair moving being a thing, but I haven't been able to see it in these vids, was it discontinued or is it just reaaaally subtle? personally I'd love to be able to see it move a lot n stuff

But it's certainly not universal to everyone's experience and I'm okay with it being low priority. To the OP: I think they had it implemented in the Paramaker. It just isn't enabled in live mode yet.

Pretty sure they changed the model since then. That model look less like a paper cutout compared to this one. Go back and look at Maggie then compared to Maggie now. I could be wrong, but I think the flowing hair is discontinued.

Looks great! Only thing I can think to improve is if you can have someone "help" by spotting (maybe giving a small buff to progress?) and if the weights changed based on skill! So low skill has only one small ring, medium two, and high all three? Treadmill jogging faster?

This game is becoming more and more impressive with every little update. One thing I've been noticing for a while now though, is how the lighting doesn't really take into consideration that the building has a roof. The sun shines into the space as if there are only walls. It's not a game breaker, but I hope with time you will manage work out the outdoor-indoor lighting situation. It would really add to the ambiance of any room in my opinion.

I believe that that may be the case because they were working on the roofing tool at the time they made this video, so they had probably been making these builds for videos without roofs. According to their development road map, they have completed the basic roof tool, so hopefully we’ll see some future videos showing us what indoors will look like with a roof.

Don’t think the neck should be lifting with the bar bell thing, in reality that would cause injury. 😂 But maybe as the para gets more experienced their form will improve? And maybe paras, if they don’t have a certain trait, ie athletic, they are more likely to get hurt while exercising?

That is a super risky barbell drop. Even a beginner should not be doing that, slow and steady with fewer reps is better than uncontrolled with higher reps. The animation quality itself is great
