Any devotee who will emulate Arjuna-epitome of the ideal disciple-and perform his rightful duty with nonattachment, and perfect his practice of yoga meditation through a technique such as Kriya Yoga, will similarly draw the blessings and guidance of God and win the victory of Self-realization. As God talked with Arjuna, so will He talk with you. As He lifted up the spirit and consciousness of Arjuna, so will He uplift you. As He granted Arjuna supreme spiritual vision, so will He confer enlightenment on you. We have seen in the Bhagavad Gita the story of the soul’s journey back to God-a journey each one must make. O divine soul! like Arjuna, “Forsake this small weakheartedness (of mortal consciousness). Arise!” Before you is the royal path. Yoga meditation is the process of cultivating and stabilizing the awareness of one’s real nature, through definite spiritual and psychophysical methods and laws by which the narrow ego, the flawed hereditary human consciousness, is displaced by the consciousness of the soul. Bhgavad Gita found me. I was in SanDiego on the beach of Carlsbad. A young man approached me and asked how I was feeling after he watch me meditating for a while. I said “ I’m feeling love”. He said “may I give this to you? “ “ I am from The Society for Krishna Consciousness” I was immediately intrigued. You see I was in a state of letting go and accepting what the Lord has in store for me. This young yogi was the first encounter after asking God to guide me. I knew this wasn’t a coincidence he was very focused and light 💡 in his delivery to me. I said” You are from God huh” Lol we laughed and he said “ Absolutely “ we sat I. Silence for moment with both of our eyes closed as if to get an answer from God. We got it. Journey to self awareness I am truly grateful for your video it is helping me to allow Bhagavad GITA to enter into my soul much easier. Thank you 🙏

I am not trained in religion. But I know that all the ongoing world discriminations allow me to be open to receiving a bible, Buddhist works and Hindu Scriptures when offerred. I wonder if the same openness comes for the Quran? This is where the test is. All religions offer path ways to oneness. REVEAL GOD and divine... but fear is associated with some books... can we go above to really reach God and openness to various mediums? Fearlessly.

Hallo @kerkins, i had a similar meeting on Swamis beach/Encinitas 21years ago. I was in the SelfRealization Fellowship Retreat and vibrating from all the spiritual " gifts" ,i was overflowing...when i went to the beach i had an encounter with a homeless called " Jimmy", who showed me compassion and divine love in its purest form...he invited me in his " home", made only of ocean wood, artfully created. He only had one bread...which he parted with me...and the half of his part he gave to the sea animals, seagulls and little crabs on the beach....😪😪i never met a person like him, and as he raised his sunglasses, there were light blue eyes i could look through immediately directly in this wonderful compassionate soul....God talks to us in different ways The next day i flew home to Germany, but never forgot that gift i got from him🙏🌠i hope he is fine, wherever he may be💛Thanks Jimmy!

What a beautiful video. I love the teachings of PY and I can truly recommend the Self Realization Fellowship study. But as mentioned in the video, we have to practice meditation too. Without practicing meditation daily we will not experience the beautiful benefits of these teachings. On the other hand, only practicing meditation without knowing the theory of the higher states of conciousness might also unsettle us. Namasté 🙏

Yogananda was very wonderful and wise. If you go out of the body at death, the correct way is out of the top of the head, and if you go out any other way, you could get stuck in the body for a while. Out the top of the head, is your exit, the same way you came in.

I started mumbling words , lost sleep, my body started shaking on daily basisy family took me to psychiatrist and put me on medication my health started demishing it was horrible , i thought I gone mad. My grandmother even asked me to die. But we went to Village and spiritual guru of our village told me the reason for these episodes will be revealed in future believe in God and don't tell your dreams to anyone. I fought withy family to not eat medicine cause after eating them I forget what happened whole day and my legs gets numb I can't walk. 2 years later , i m fine still don't want to go outside and researching on Awakening. Waiting for secret to reveal maybe it's already revealed. I didn't get it.😅.

The content of his is very good, the pictures of Pramahansa Yogananda add to the feeling of inspiration, but please leave out the pictures of people trying to meditate and look spiritual, they only distract from the teachings. The spiritual pictures from the Gita are a nice addition, as are any pictures of saints, but please no American "wanna be"s trying to do yoga. They only take away from the message...
