Why do they show the prosthesis but there is no video of the dolphin wearing it? What good does it serve if the animal doesn't wear it?

In the "shows" they explain that it puts strain on her muscles - like working in the gym is for us. It makes those muscles stronger, but if it's done too long then it will make her sore. So she only wears it for a certain amount of time per day (a few hours). The fact that she's still alive shows that the prosthetic has reduced the stress on her spine enough so that she doesn't get paralysed. (This is one of the parts of Dolphin Tale that is actually true).

At Clearwater, They rescue the hurt animals and release them if its okay for them to leave. Winter would not survive in the Ocean with no Tail.
