The song isn't venting, its more about the perception that the media and most people only notice Hayley and forget about the rest of them despite Josh co wrote everything and without Zac and Josh Paramore wouldn't exist . It almost lead them to split when they aborted a tour. Instead they filmed the Thats what You Get video. Unfortunately the problem reappeared and Josh and Zac had enough and left.

Very unprofessional of Josh during this time. When they were touring their Brand New Eyes album around the world, Josh was already lazy to play because of the problem with Hayley, hence Josh's uninspired performance in this video. I rememberwhen they came to Malaysia to perform, I thought I attended a funeral or something, it was very unenergetic especially Josh & Zac. Fans were screaming their lungs out for their favourite band but when I looked at Josh, he was just plucking and strumming riffs staticly throughout the show, like a man with no soul. And Zac wasn't at his best either, he wasn't the usual hard hitting arms flying around drummer we know. It was definitely one of the dark shows I've been to, oh and it was in 2010 also iinm, like in this video. Few months later the Farros, unsurprisingly announced their break up. I was just like, I knew there was something going on, almost every Brand New Eyes tour show I've watched, on KZbin and in my country, it was so dark, gloomy and uninspired, there must be something going, like a big fight between them. But, that was 2010. Sad times are gone, now they are as happy as they can be, though not the Paramore we used to know, still, a very good band. Just me sharing a story :)

I know im late as hell but this comment caught my attention cause I've been hooked on watching alot of their older shows lately and I noticed Josh just has a lifeless vibe to him in nearly every show from this time. I think the one I noticed it most was the Nashville concert they played. Josh's energy was dead and completly opposite from the others especially Hayley.

So I guess you have played in a bad? You understand how bad things can go when there is differences? If not shut the fuck up! I have played in many bands during my playing days and the personality differences can definitely make you want to leave and not want fulfill your commitments because it becomes a constant reminder of what brought you together and ultimately divided you. I was also a professional on air radio dj and interviewed many bands who expressed the same sentiments.

Yeah i guess thats why they split, cause music is intense and intimate that it will always mean something, singing about the stuff that could've made them split, did make them split. It's a shame though how it all ended but im glad its not over, that would've been more sad. Its strange how the brothers left and jeremy and taylor stayed with hayley. one day we might hear more about what happened, when it isn't so raw.

This was arounf the time when they split, i wonder how hard it was carrying on knowing that this could have been the very end. Singing songs from brand new eyes that was all about them basically having problems. A bit awkward.

It kinda sucks and its a bit rude that she's singing about them...or one of them (ahem) and they are just rockin out to it like its nothing just so they can profit off the concert. Sad... I don't think songs like that should be made that way--bandmates venting about each other :/
