I've heard that: some people wanted her to become a solo artist but they'd also decided the band sounds better with her than a music from computer. And also - she wanted to play with a band. I really don't get how people are annoyed with all that, It's always known that the most popular person in a band is vocalist (uhm usually). They should agree with that. I've never seen Amy Lee wearing "Evanescence is a band" t-shirt.

The backup vocals on the album cut really make this and are way under leveled here, unfortunately. Still amazing, Haley is always awesome, but the depth and peculiarity present in the tones lent to her on the album are so we'll tuned, they are almost imperceptible and create a volume of depth that just isn't here. I'm always amazed at the noted they chose to back with, so supportive but oddball in a way, where as here, it's a little more "what you'd expect"... Anyway, bact to work for me
