I'm blown away. This song was already so powerful and Remi totally reimagined it in a way that's just as powerful but feels totally new. Maybe one of the best covers I've ever heard like in my entire life? I didn't even think I was this big a Remi Wolf fan but this is so good I was literally listening to it for the first time with a huge smile on my face and by the end I felt myself tearing up so I guess maybe I am.

This is the best remake from the album, it's the same level of the original one. It's just perfect how this version just rewrite all the song from the scratch but with a new vibe that doesn't erase the deep tone from the original. In fact, this is a version from the other perspective from the lyrics, that really makes sense guessing that the "villain" is happy messing around with the "hero".

Remi and Paramore are my top two artists and this is SUCH a dream come true that I never knew I ever wanted or needed! As soon as the music starts, you can tell this is a Remi song but it holds that vibe and feeling Paramore has. You guys better tour together again because I’m so disappointed I couldn’t see you together. UGH I’m just sitting in a parking lot with this blasting at 5am before work. In both versions, I feel like the stay animal is the grudge or the scorn you carry for a person, like someone you were in love with. Feeding the stray animal keeps the scorn alive, and maybe it's better to feed the animal and feel angry, than to feel nothing at all. Maybe it's because there's still love. Even when the lyrics have this anger, the melodies and brightness from Remi makes me think of the love from that past relationship and Imma, keep. on. coming. back.
