How many days did it take to get 530 flights? I’m guessing 99% where touch and goes?

He flew on day 5 so 6 days of flying. Yes all the skills and practice are in the take off and landing. Flight duration is pretty useless for skill building so you want to knock out as many touch and goes as possible. That's what takes truly incredible skills.

What counts as a “flight?” I mean, like, duration, or a circular pathway, or what? It wouldn’t really be accurately true if one was just doing twenty foot touch n goes up and down the beach, would it?

Actually all skills are used during a take off and landing. Flying straight and level is almost worthless for skill building so the faster you can knock out a flight the better. The more skill you have the faster you can do it. So you get the most flights and practice the very last hours of the last day. To bring your body to a complete stop while maintaining perfect altitude give or take only 1 inch and then to accelerate the glider again and then exchange airspeed for lift while again perfectly controlling loading, altitude, and direction takes every single detail of skill and glider control. So it's all about touch and goes to a complete stop and duration of the flight has pretty much zero value.

wow awesome stuff Dell. To go from 0 to even 100 plus flights shows how good and thorough your training is! Not just learning the skills but then incorporating them in the training environment is priceless! I know you have indeed put a price on this, and I am getting finances in line with being able to come learn from you. I have asked about if you know others in my area, but another idea comes to mind. Do you have a message board or something where current and future students can build camaraderie and get together to fly or bounce things off of one another?

Yes we have a Flat Top paramotor group here on fb just for that purpose. So no problem linking up with others who have had SUPER training that are in your area.
