Everyone knew Covid wouldn’t be eternity and theaters have been around for a century. They are never going away so no. It’s absolutely stupid to try and justify that idiotic mindset. More reasons for why you really can’t and shouldn’t believe people in positions of power in business actually know what the hell they’re doing, majority don’t & this is a prime example of that.

I know. I see where the CEO was coming from. Theaters were dead with many "experts " predicting they would never come back , which I think is largely true. I live in a town of 40k people and one of the theaters closed during Covid and hasn't reopened. I think the problem is that theres just too much drama in the company and a lack of focus.

@@starship519 Disney's actually starting to see a small prophet from removing their channels from Spectrum an offering Disney Plus..... it's actually cheaper to run a streaming service platform then running a whole network..... you take Disney Channel Disney Junior freeform put them under one streaming platform you only need about 100 people to run that streaming service.... as where when you run Networks it can take up to 300 400 people so they're actually saving Millions.... and by shutting down all the networks and moving all of them to one Studio which is now 20th century

Comcast Disney and Warner Bros want to control everything..... with a Paramount skydance merger it will bring Oracle out to play his farther the fifth richest man in the world already wants to invest into Paramount global also he has three smaller investor companies that are ready to invest .... they're trying to block Paramount Global from becoming the PowerHouse it once was..... Apollo Management offer that large amount because they're planning on dismantling the company and selling all the assets Sony wants to buy Paramount Content Library Netflix Comcast wants Nickelodeon and couple other networks..... Apollo Management only wants to keep full control of Paramount Pictures
