About Beverly Hills Cop: The heat is on in this fast paced action-comedy starring Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a street smart Detroit cop tracking down his best friend's killer in Beverly Hills. Axel quickly learns that his wild style doesn't fit in with the Beverly Hills Police Department, which assigns two officers (Judge Reinhold & John Ashton) to make sure things don't get out of hand. Dragging the stuffy detectives along for the ride, Axel smashes through a huge culture clash in his hilarious, high-speed pursuit of justice. Featuring cameos by Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Damon Wayans, Beverly Hills Cop is an exhilarating, sidesplitting adventure.

The latest film brought back some of the charm of the first film. But what makes this damn near perfect is the supporting character development throughout. They all start hating Axel but through various moments you see their reactions and they gradually warm up to him as the scenes go on. It’s a great film in character development study.

Taggert did two things wrong: he struck a cop and he took sides, immediately, between a cop and local businessman during the questioning/argument.😢

Well, cops don't press charges on cops today, either, so I guess not much has changed.

I can't believe how advanced that police station is!! No way were cops here in Australia using computers back in 1984.

Those 2 cops who arrest Axel in the beginning dont bother to check his ID to find out hes a cop..that's pretty sloppy police work.

I really liked Coming to America. Arnisio Hall was awesome, he curled his lip and it spoke volumes. Quite funny that their characters were very like stock roles of English Gentlemen in a lot of ways.

Watching this clip in 2024. This movie held up really well. Why? Dialogue and good writing. As well as good acting. I'm looking forward to the new Netflix movie.

I swear Taggert has to be the the biggest badest bad ass to ever appear on screen, bar *NONE.* No exceptions. He's the meanest. I mean when Dick Jones/Vilos Cohaagen himself has to step in personally and reign you in and tell you to cool it, you *KNOW* you're dealing with the most awesomest badass to ever badassed. Taggert it *BOSS.*
