Once again Kyle Gallner was the highlight of the whole production, just like he did in Dinner in America, Smile and that fantastic opening sequence in Smile 2, which was the best moment in the whole film, and one of the greatest movie sequences this year.

The only reason someone elses weakness pisses you off this much is because at one time you either had that weakness or someone forced it onto you. Benson in his own way wants to help Randy because noone helped him.

Kyle Gallner was so great in this. ❤ I feel like his character went through something traumatic himself and sees Randy as his younger self, and how he used to be. The end of the film was tragic, watch closely. He mentions something to Randy and you see the sadness in his eyes. His laugh in this scene though is so on point though. ❤

The teacher in the parking lot that he beats to death abused him. And the thing at the end alludes to this as well when he talks about going on a trip to the zoo as a young kid in school, most likely with said teacher. I love how they don’t completely spell that out, the only reason I’m 100% confident in saying this is Kyle Gallner confirmed it in an interview lol
