That she made twice, 1st before they split up and the 2nd getting back together with him. Taylor has the right to decide the fate of the Yellowstone series, 100%. However, I think Yellowstone should continue without Kevin. Kevin is a great actor, and he plays such a vital part of the show, but all the other cast members of the show are great as well. I think Kayce should take over the Yellowstone, or even Rip. I think a lot of good would come out of it. Looking forward to seening what Taylor has more in store for us, I doubt he'll let us down.

Amen to that! I read up more about why Costner is leaving, and it has to do with a passion project he's been working on. The thing is, it's only supposed to take about 2 more years to finish, and Taylor Sheridan said he had 7 seasons of material...so for Kevin to walk away now is kind of ridiculous. Even if he is great to work with and had been kind to his costars, it's a slap in the face from him and Sheridan to the entire cast, several of whom got their big break on Yellowstone. This is robbing so many people of their jobs.

It was after Tate had to shoot an intruder that was trying to kill him and his mom. Tate was not dealing well with the trauma and was scared of anyone that was a man, including his father. Kayce was trying to snap him out of it so that he wouldn't be afraid forever.
