From time to time during the years I pull up this video and enjoy it immensely. Lopinot was so beautiful in the past years but when I visited last year it was a disaster. How some rehabilitation works are being done. This place is too beautiful to just neglect.

I love the interaction where the guy with the hat in the back was starting to sing and Paul started singing, not realizing what had happened....the the guy in the middle then intervened and asked Paul to 'leh him geh ah verse'....and that verse was such a sweet addition! Great vibes, great interactions, great music!

Only in Trinidad an English speaking country would they be singing in Spanish on a French Heritage Site in Lopinot. That area is close to the Count's house. Rich diversity and history.

Smile on my face, since my most celebrated Christmas was with my great-grand mother. Could not understand a lick of what said but it sounded real good, enough to dance and have fun. I was about 5-6yrs old. Just like right now. It had a sound of happiness to a child's ears. Enjoyable childhood memories. YEAH!!!

Made a trip with a business assc. to erin where I met a cuatro maker who passed 8 months later. he described the last one he made which I have as a tenoir cuatro. this christmas we 'll get some sounds if I can have it repaired in time.

Trini Freeview, Trinidad is as real as they come. We the people make this country beautiful. We are the most tolerant people in the world. Although Trinidad and Tobago is considered one nation they have different histories of occupation and colonisation. I consider Trinidad one place and Tobago another. Tobagonians are different to Trinis. They have their own lifestyle, culture and accent.
