“Paranoid”- Cold War French Navy carrier operations

The majority of the footage is from a video titled "French and British aircraft carriers during the cold war" (1). Other videos include AP News snippets found off KZbin and another video titled "French Navy Etednard IVM aboard aircraft carrier Foch R99(1968)"(2). Also in this video is semi-rare test footage of the Jaguar M, the naval version of the SEPECAT Jaguar. The intro footage came from a KZbinr named "MAJORPOM" who i assume was a sailor aboard Foch(3). His video also includes footage of the Rafale being tested on Foch as well.

number 3 footage, i was there back in time in 1994, operation " mission Balbuzard" i was a flight deck crew member ( PONEV which mean "équipier de pont d'envol" in French) 6/7 compagny, i was alongside the waist cat, ( only two cats on Clémenceau class carrier one in the bow, one in the waist ) team 8 ( équipe 8 Babordais) close to that F8E-FN ( F8P variant FN means French navy Crusaders) from the Fighting squadron 12 ( Flottille 12F Lascars) from Landivisiau naval air station, Adriatic sea aircraft carrier operation, good ol days, aircraft carrier Foch, hull number R99....

The French have maintained a CATOBAR capability and is the only nation outside the US to operate a nuclear carrier. And during the Cold War, France was one of the few nations to maintain a nuclear triad.
