Paranoimia was an Amiga cracking group, formed in may of 1989 by former members of the group World of Wonders (Balthazar, Metallica, Kontrasoft, The Hellion, The Corsair, Chris, Derek, Eurosoft, Matrix 9, Relax and The Guardian). P.E.N.I.S. 3 (june 1989) reported, "World of Wonders are finally D E A D !!! They formed a new group which released at first the game 'Datastorm' ! Their name is : Paranoimia !?!" Adverts in Cracker Journal 14 (may 1989) and Cracker Journal 15 (july 1989), pointing to an address in Aachen, Germany and offering selling of software. A may 1989 release without a crackintro listed Bad Fat, Balthazar, Chris, Derek, Eurosoft, Kontrasoft, Matrix 9, Mr. Fly, Metallica, Relax, Sex Machine, The Corsair, The Guardian and The Hellion as their members. Cracker Journal 15 (july 1989) reported that, "Many Paranoimia members joined Vision Factory." Cracker Journal 18 (january 1990) reported that ADJ had left Oracle for Paranoimia. The adverts section carried an ad pointing to a P.O. Box in Amay, Belgium. The january 1990 cracktro for Corsaire welcomed Sleeping Bag as a new member. Cracker Journal 19 (march 1990) reported, "Rector left Paranoimia." New York Warriors also in march wrote, "greetings to our new member durc amgems". The group ceased existence in june of 1990. Following their disbanding, Metallica, The Hellion and The Corsair helped form the new group Skid Row, while others formed The Company with former members of Quartex.

He was a magician back then, on the SID.! You know what most people don`t get, about these times? You where not only a musician, but also the soung programmer.! Take Terra Cresta for example.! Not only an outstanding composition....but extraordinary sound design.

The Hippel tune (Jochen Hippel = God, I dare say ^^) is "ASTAROTH" (FC13.ASTAROTH), Futurecomposer tune playable with Eagleplayer/Deliplayer/Hippoplayer on Amiga/emulation (UAE), else if you can get your hands on the old but still functional Deliplayer 2.50 on PC, it works fine :) damn, those were the days (old fool ranting :p)
