I’m not gonna lie… I was scared watching this episode at first, but I literally cried when the explain the accident, the ghost sighting, and the lighting of an Angel… it is a true genuine miracle.

I visited Nick's home one day after this accident he was about ten years old. Nick was in his room and his great grandmother walked by his room and heard him talking talking. She asked who are you talking to Nicky? Nick replied my mother. His great grandmother started yelling at this kid like he had done something wrong. I have supernatural experiences as well and I definitely believe he was communicating with his mom. I wanted to yell at this lady treating Nick that way but it would be useless. Nick if you happen to read this I hope you continue to have that supernatural relationship with your mom. Since that day Everytime I hear Los Lobos / Robert Plants "Angel Dance" it reminds me of you. Of all The Unsolved Mystery programs I watched, this one is the only one I remember. It was so haunting and I love to retell the story around the campfire. Heartbreaking and heartwarming!

This story is very well known to me through my Aunt-in-law. She worked in the Portage, IN circuit clerks office for many years. Nick Skubish (the young man speaking) is positively right about what he says occurred. 😢😢😢 His mother's love and God's hands saved young 3 year old Nick's life. He'd been alone for 5 days, it was a miracle, considering the day and night temperatures. I'm glad to see he's doing well. He seems like a wonderful person. My Aunt, Connie Lute, talked about this frequently. I think her youngest daughter was Christene's age. Making it stick out in her mind. Portage isn't a large town and when this happened in 94 or 95, it was the talk of the town RIP Christen Skubish. You're remembered! 🎉🎉🎉
