Jane would have welcomed you with open arms. Thank you for caring about her memory. She was “queen for 9 days”, however, it was actually 12 days. Edward passed and directly upon his passing she was Queen. She learned of it later that day or the next. She made her way from Syon House to Tower of London by way of the Thames and arrived on day 3 of Edward’s death, and it’s when she was inside the White Tower and sat with her counsel it was officially begun. Then, 9 days later Mary 1 entered by way of Byward Tower after docking at Queen’s Steps. Jane would have already been in custody and taken to Nathanial Partridge’s home where she’d live her imprisonment rather than a cell. Very kind of him. 8 months later she’d be gone. If not for Wyatt’s Rebellion she’d very likely be alive. May she and Guildford rest in peace. And their fathers. They did the best they could with the time it was. It was kill or he killed. Die or fight to live. She was a kind soul who would have made you tea and asked if you’d like to discuss the Protestant faith or to talk about the concept of Plato’s Cave. 🏰🇬🇧👑⚔️

At 11:08 it sounds as if he says, "I am from 1711". Just a thought, but it could be Thomas Grey, the 2nd Earl of Stamford who died in 1720 - he was the owner of the Leicestershire estate at Bradgate Park prior to his death.

Lady Jane Grey was a teenager, relative of Henry VIII.
