My preferences: 4. Good - good indeed, but freakishly simple. 3. Awful - is supposed to sound awful, but the representation of the soundtracks' replicas with technically one "instrument" makes it exotic. 2. Cool - "Good" redone with more wickedly instruments. Fine, but still too "clear". 1. Bad - the simpleness of Good and Cool mixed with the ingeniosity of Awful. Also contains riffs that are not present in ANY of the other modes. This is for the singles. Now for the mixes: - Good/Bad: DAMN THAT SQUEAKY EARRAPE. Still enjoyable though. - Cool/Good: The two just line along with each other like it wasn't even combined. Again, good-sounding, but simple. - Good/Awful: A bit like "meh", but whatever, I still take it for more than Gangnam Style. - Bad/Awful: My batteries in my NES are dropping, damnit. Instalike. - Cool/Awful: Sounds a little dissonant because of the huge gap, but at least no squeaking at all. I dig it. - Cool/Bad: I agree with Circuit in this one. The impressing instrumentals mixed with the nowhere-else-present sounds make this like almost perfect. - Good/Bad/Awful: Some squeakiness spiced with old Atari sounds. The latter compensates for it, but not very much. The category of me supporting to listen just for it for like half-an-hour without being zombified. - Cool/Good/Awful: Again, the two better line along and the Atari feels apart, but just like the other instances, it compensates for it. 45-50 minutes without dementia. - Cool/Good/Bad: While any of the other two only merged with Good sound too simple, the famous Cool/Bad mixture makes even Good sound like something between 'em. - Cool/Bad/Awful: THIS MELODY DAMNIT. Awful's sounds join the impeccable duo like bread and butter. Again, agree with Circuit. - All together: quite a mixed bag, literally. One of my favourites, though, because the "worse" modes are enhanced by the "better" ones (according to my preferences, not the game's ranking), whilst not the other way around. - All together, w/ lyrics: I enjoy it, BUT THE LINES SOUND TOO QUIET RELATED TO THE MIXBAG. Bonus point though that you added the Cool ending dialogue to it. :)
