Playthrough Description I love Parasite Eve 2. This game is perhaps my most played PS1 game! I'm not sure why but I just have to replay this game over and over again at least every year. Anyway! this playthrough showcases the GUNBLADE from Final Fantasy 8, HYPERVELOCITY and MONK ROBE. This is my first time playing with this weapon/armor combination and I really did enjoy this playthrough. Hope you do so as well. Thanks for watching! 1. No Avoidable Damage (There are instances in-game where you have to take story damage) 2. Increase In max life due to armor change Is not damage 3. Tried my best to equip the GUNBLADE and HYPERVELOCITY throughout the game

A little late my comment, but this game, for me, has been the game that I have played the most in my childhood. I even still have a PS1 emulator on my computer where I play it from time to time. The mode of being able to Replay the game by increasing the difficulty like Nightmare Mode is spectacular and represents a challenge, especially when you have to deal with the strongest enemies in the game just by starting the game. Thank you very much for bringing this jewel to us and very good job.

Hey, it is the exact same for me! From all the games this is the one that is biggest in my mind, I also have a emulator (and tweaked the graphics to look like a PS1 on a CRT TV via composite) just so I can play it whenever I get the desire for it.

This game is so cool, I never tire of it. Dryfield is one creepy cool place. I could never figure out how to get the better weapons and higher magic etc. it was pretty complex at the time. I used to scroll through the menu at Lightning speed now I wonder how. What a classic ! ✌️ 🇺🇸

It looks so clean! What are your settings? When I play DMC1 on PCSX2 it looks blurred and not clean even with bumping up everything and also having low performance issue even on GTX 1080 and i7 7700K! Even though it is PS2 emulator I still wanna know your settings.

I already beat the game 10x but I get is the mongoose and magnum bullets? I thought if beat the game 10x you get the hypervelocity gun?

You have to reach ranks based on EXP earned in the game. If you got mongoose you got rank D 69,000-72000 exp. Hyper velocity is rank A- 200,001-400,000 Gun blade is rank S 400,001+ To cheat this you instead can hit your highest rank achieved twice in a row and it will automatically move you up one Rank. Getting to A rank is not so bad. Hitting A rank twice in a row is the grind. Since B rank is as low as 75,001-200,000.

@@whyareyoubothering Not to mention the game does not unlock the same rank twice, it will go above it or below it so I believe it was with 13x playing it through that you get all unlocks for the game (but I personally only use extra items on the Nightmare run so that enemies are a lot tougher, you use a trainer or a patched ROM for this ability to buy all the stuff).

Please upload Scavenger Mode and Nightmare mode use Medicine Wheel at the game start. I curious about all bonus item after all battle. Please also finish this game until you find jodie bouquet beside american soldier tent. I always love bonus grenade bullet. Thanks.

The extra items you get from the Medicine Wheel isn't very much or important unless you play on Scavenger mode. And even then it is kind of useless, apart from the extra damage/extra parasite powers damage.
