It amazes me there are still fans of this series out there. I think Square forgot it existed. They kept renewing the IP for it, but won't do anything with it. I thought it was amazing back when it came out. This theme always stuck with me, and this is a fantastic cover of it.

Thank you. I have a feeling Tabata would be in charge after his recent statements on global releases. Would be a perfect candidate as a Luminous Engine title helmed by the team working on Project Athea. Issue for me is that it isn't the late '90s anymore. I'd prefer Capcom reboot PE in the RE Engine with the same staff that was used for RE2, sans western involvement like they did with RE3R and RE7/8.

Didn’t they _Remastered_ Parasite Eve on July 2020? On the Unreal Engine 4. I heard they were planning a remake but scrapped it. Due to pandemic and 7r part 2

@@junivanofdragonia I think you're talking about a fan trailer that was done in UE4. Was it a trailer set to a remixed version of Primal Eyes? I'd love for that to be a full game over what Square would likely churn out. I like SE's output, generally, but I suspect Square would hand off writing duties to westerners (like RE3:R), at which point I'd completely lose any interest.
