I found out about the game almost two years ago now, and I am head over heels in love with it. I don't have access to it, and I don't trust emulators, but I think if they gave it the FF7 Remake treatment it could be the best thing Square ever came out with. Parasite Eve was highly ambitious for its time, but the environments could be upscaled with today's technology.

That would actually be pretty cool to see NY as it's going through the EVE event. To see it normal, then people panicking to evacuate, to eventually seeing it empty. Like that would be shocking to see an empty NY, I'd add a boss battle to Times Square and have a few more events tied to land marks.
