The description of losing the ability to tolerate dairy due to the flattening of the vili.... and then he mentions there is an uptick in treatment-resistant strains... and then I think of the HUGE increase in food sensitivities over the past 10 years, mostly dairy gluten and eggs.

My mum had a form of giardia that was with her for years. She always had mild to moderate gastric issues like irritable bowel syndrome but just put up with it, as many women due. Wasn't until at 60 she had a bowel cancer scare and had to have both a colonoscopy that eggs were found. Further testing, she had giardia, probably got it as a kid swimming in fresh water creek and had it literally 30 years approx. Luckily was treated and no cancer was found. I am in NZ

Caution, I personally have been infected by Giardia and subsequently developed giardiasis on at least 2 different occasions (several years apart). Disturbingly, after an exhaustive search the original source of infection was found to be inside of a common garden hose that I had foolishly drank from in the heat of summer, and yes I did let the water run for an extended period of time prior to drinking.

@gregvisioninfosoft
@gregvisioninfosoft 6 ай бұрын
@@rashedlaw301 Effective treatments include metronidazole, tinidazole, and nitazoxanide. Other medications include paromomycin, quinacrine, and furazolidone. Some of these drugs may not be readily available in the United States. These are strong, and between the original infection as well as the treatment, one may be left with a bad situation of the stomach digesting itself because its protective coating is hurt by the meds. Causing so called acid stomach reflex. Which requires a hydrochloric acid inhibitor to heal.

Interestingly, I discovered that I had again contracted giardiasis several years after my 1st infection, before I had developed the oily diarrhea and associated severe abdominal cramping and weight loss. I was cutting into a fresh lemon and immediately had a violently intense reaction characterized by an enormous quantity of saliva erupting into and out of my mouth with an associated weakening of my knees and near collapse, all of which happened in the space of not more than 3 to 3.5 seconds. No exaggeration, I assure you. Also noteworthy; just as quickly as all of that happened, the instant that enormous volume of saliva passed through and out of my mouth, my near collapse was interrupted and reversed by an equally intense elation and euphoric feeling of satiation. A subsequent office visit to my general practitioner with Lab testing of stool sample confirmed a diagnosis of giardiasis. Cheers!

I have giardiadis and my doctor suggested a 3-day treatment of Mebendazole (200mg / twice a day), and then repeat an identical treatment after 14 days. Is this treatment legit? Also, I just finished the first cycle yesterday and I still have the same symptoms. Is that normal? Thank you for this very informative video.

as he said, some strains are becoming resistant to some treatments. The mode of action metronidazole is different than tinidazole - so it might be suggested by your doctor to try both of those.

My same question. I know there are lab tests to look for IgG and IgM, so i assume they must also have IgA tests. and I just learned this week there are four different types of IgG. One researcher has said if one desires to see if they have received proteins from sars-cov2 v*c*ne 'shedding', a study recently published shows IgG4 for sar-cov2 proteins will show that. So I am curious to see where I can do such a test, as I'm curious of the result.

Plus the fact that alcohol made from fermented grains, and breaks down into a sugar (worm food). Anecdotal tangent: I dated a few heavy drinkers (bad habit in my 20s) and they all had parasites/classic digestive parasitic symptoms. 10:30 he talks about people turning into “carriers”-I can vouch for that! My body is doesn’t recognize parasites readily so if they are around I pick em up. I can tell ya, NO ONE is talking enough about how parasites are STDs too. 😩

@@sl4983 parasitic symptoms & traits you can easily identify (even in someone else): itching/crawling under skin sensation in groin, upper leg, buttocks, abdomen, and skull (to observe in someone else listen for complaints of this or watch for scratching, itching or picking). Also nose-picking & stuffy nose (parasites can live in the sinuses). Strong cravings for, or diet high in: starches and sugars. Watch for sugar cravings, especially late at night after dinner meal. Alcohol/cravings for alcohol can replace the food cravings. Mood swings, rage, and risk-taking are all behavioral symptoms in men. Conversely women tend to exhibit docile submissive behavior (think opposite of risk-taking). Eating a lot and not feeling full or that you could even more. Someone who eats a lot but doesn’t gain weight. Watch for, or observe quick or frequent trips to the bathroom, especially right after meals. Stool will appear to be loosely formed and fluffy, lighter in color than normal and with undigested recognizable food particles in stool. You can observe this in someone else if they use the bathroom and flush and there is still particles at the bottom. Will look like diarrhea sort of. Not suggesting you stalk someone’s bathrooms habits AT ALL but this has happened randomly to me as I co-existed with folks. Also a trait to watch for in yourself. Asking questions about their diet/what they enjoy to eat can reveal clues. We all have parasites. Some of us have genetic or life circumstances that require us to be a little more diligent in avoiding them, even if it’s just while you are detoxing or getting your health back in order. I write none of this to discriminate against those with parasites (because I would be writing against myself) but to help those who need to avoid them actively. Hope this helps!

No, but it can cause death due to malnutrition if it is not properly managed and stopped. As it basically destroys the villi in the small intestine.

@@sl4983 Like any condition, each body has its own capabilities. Some humans, mostly in regions where the people have had this exposure for generations will likely recover better than where a tourist gets it. As stated in this video, some humans have an ability to produce an IgA anti-body to the giardia, which will change how the giardia locks onto the protein of the villi. And when this response is strong, it literally prevents the giardia from holding onto the villi, and they then eventually just die and flush out of ones system. It is for those who do not have the IgA anti-body to the giardia, who will have chronic symptoms that do not clear naturally, and will need the drugs to help kill the adult giardia (the egg like cysts will still remain in ones system). its typical that many parasites in a cyst or oocyte stage, similarly for toxoplasmosis) will stay forever in the body - waiting for the persons immune system to be run down from lack of sleep, too many other illnesses, alchohol, etc... and then they can reinfect. so thats why a person must always try to live a healthy life to support their immune system.
